The tremors have begun for ERUPT 2010. The planning for the next ERUPT Festival is well underway, with what promises to be another very exciting programme to be launched on

ERUPT 2008 went off!

 

Did you know that in 2008:

 

• Over 11 days, the Festival offered 66 performing arts events, 7 exhibitions, and 54 workshops.
• Taupo hosted 141 artists from New Zealand, Brazil, Australia, US, UK, Canada, Spain, and Argentina.
• Over 20,500 audience members experienced the Festival.
• 75% of our audience were from Taupo or surrounding regions, and 25% were visitors.
• 5,300 students participated in the Education programme from 27 schools.
• 36% of our income raised from individuals and sponsors.
